Oil is on the rise and it is a good and bad thing for people and business' alike. More money for the oil industry the more money by everyone else. With Oil hitting a price of $106.54 a barrel it is the highest price for oil ever. There is traders balancing weak jobs with the decline of the American dollar which they believe is the cause of the high prices.

What is Web 2.0
Web 1.0 is said to be the first generation of the internet. It is a dial up internet connection with approximately 50K of average bandwidth and was included on the majority of websites between 1994 and 2004. It is the first version of the web and is read only sites and uses only HTML.
Most retail sites like The Brick would be an example of Web 1.0 because they are not interactive features for the user, there are no opportunities for blogging and there is no XML.

Web 2.0 is the second generation of the Internet. It is a broadband connection with around 1 MB of bandwidth. It is and new and improved internet that offers more people focused sites allowing the user to interact. It uses interactive XML and are read-write sites.
The site You Tube would be an excellent example of Web 2.0 because it boasts an interactive experience for the user when the have the opportunity to ‘broadcast’ themselves, not only view content but also add it.
